Through a little wooden bridge, you can access your private garden in Madeira Island and the cottage Tenda – a studio with a kitchenette, a bathroom and a large balcony that occupies the entire width of the house. A floor-to-ceiling opening glass wall, which gives access to the great balcony will provide you unbelievable and fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean. Lying in bed or even resting in the hammock, only the sea will be in front of you to appreciate the calm and the immensity of mother nature. Enjoying a meal with a glass of good Madeiran wine in Tenda’s balcony is an experience to be savoured and you will certainly love it!

Description

The cottage Tenda is a comfortable studio, consisting of an open space with living and sleeping area and its own kitchenette. It also has a private bathroom. Inside the house you can benefit from the traditional furniture executed, by hand, with local wood. Outside the house, there is a balcony and a private garden with barbecue facilities and access to the common swimming pool.

Warm welcome and marvelous sunsets Dear Sofia and family! Thank you for your warm welcome a tour shor-term “home” Tenda! Madeira was good to us and showed itself from its sunny side! We had very relaxing days here, enjoying the nice and sunny garden with its fruits and hidden treasures, the view from our balcony overlooking the sea, the visits from the funny cat, specially momma cat with her 5 cute littles and not to forget the marvelous sunsets! Amazing Place Dear Sophia and family, these 10 days at Tenda, Calhau Grande were marvellous. Although i tis already November and the weather forecasts online were rainy ans gloomy, we were treated well with astonishing sunsets and overall great weather. This was right what we needed, na escaoe from the autumn/winter blues of the Netherlands and some vitamine D for the little growing baby in my belly. Madeira offerd us some nice hikes, good food and relaxation. A very good start for the growing baby. :) Next to the beautiful sunsets, we enjoyed the company of the kitties. A tip for the next guests, try only to feed them after you ate yourself. The baby cats are moved to higher grounds now as it rains from time to time in the nights. They are already walking around on their own adventures. We hope that everyone else enjoyes their madeira adventures as much as we did.
